Cost of Consultations
You do not need a referral to see Jane as a private client, however please check to see if are eligible for rebates which will reduce your out of pocket expense. See below to see of you are eligible for a rebate. The cost of a standard appointment with Jane are as follows:
Standard 50 minute consultation $190.00
Medicare Rebate $93.35
The fee is payable in full on the day of your appointment unless funding is granted from an external body.

Medicare Rebate
To receive a medicare rebate you must be referred by you GP, Pediatrician or Psychiatrist. Your referrer will need to complete a detailed mental health assessment and prepare a Mental Health Treatment Plan. You should book a longer session with your GP to enable time for this. Please make sure your referral is eligible for rebate before attending your session.
Private Health Rebate
You may be entitled to a rebate under your Private Health Insurance Policy. The amount rebated will vary between health funds, so please check with your provider and determine whether they will provide rebates for the services before your session.
Employees Assistance Program
Sessions covered by an Empoylees Assistance Program for the allocated number of sessions. Please check with your employer if you are eligible to utilise the EAP with your workplace
Bulk Billing
Consultations with Jane are not Bulk Billed.
Workcover and TAC
Jane does not undertake Workcover or TAC claims.
Cancellation Policy
To ensure that Jane is able to provide the best care to her clients, this cancellation policy is in place to allow us to offer the appointment to another client who may be on the cancellation list awaiting an appointment.
We require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment without occurring a cancellation fee. Fees apply to cancellations or reschedules within 48 hours and are as follows:
We understand that sometimes due to sudden illness or unexpected personal emergency you may not be able to keep an appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible if this happens.
You may call our office at any time, even after hours and leave a message on our answering service. We will return your call as soon as possible and arrange to reschedule your appointment.

- Cancellations made between 48-24 hours with be charged a $70.00 fee
- Cancellations within 24 hours or non attendance will be charged the full fee.
